Catalytic ammonia oxidation

The image shows a system for the catalytic oxidation of ammonia. The system is used for the treatment of about 3,000 m³/h. It is installed in a 40’ container with the associated packed column scrubber used for wet dedusting.

The system purifies ammonia concentrations of several g/m³ NH3, ensuring the legally required threshold values are kept. The proceeding offers the advantage of oxidizing ammonia to residue-free nitrogen that is environmentally neutral.

Amongst others, the catalytic oxidation of ammonia is used in drying processes, in chemical production processes, in coating plants, in the food industry and in municipal fields.

The system was delivered ready for operation and connection.
